Configure the Site System Status Summarizer

Use this procedure to configure default thresholds for all storage objects on the current site's site systems. You can also configure thresholds for a specific storage object.

Note You must have Modify permission for the Site security object class or instance in order to perform this procedure.

Navigate to Status Summarizers.
Systems Management Server
   Site Database
     Site Hierarchy
       site name
         Site Settings
           Status Summarizers
In the details pane, right-click Site System Status Summarizer, and then click Properties.
In the Site System Status Summarizer Properties dialog box, click the General tab.
Select the Enable status summarization check box.
Click Schedule to open the Schedule dialog box, which enables you to specify the frequency of status reporting for this site system.
Click the Thresholds tab, and then specify the default free-space status-message thresholds for all storage objects in all site systems in the site.
If a site system is the database server, this threshold is the minimum percentage of available database space. For all other site systems, this threshold is the minimum percentage of available disk space.
To set thresholds for a specific storage objects:
- If the storage object is already in the Storage object list, select it and then click . In the Free Space Threshold Properties dialog box, set the free-space thresholds for the object.
- If the storage object is not in the Storage object list, click . In the Free Space Threshold Properties dialog box, specify a storage object and set the thresholds for the object.
