Designate a Software Metering Server

Unsupported platforms    Software metering is not supported on Alpha servers.

Note   You must have Modify permission for the Site security object class or instance to perform this procedure.

  1. Navigate to Site Systems.

  2.  Systems Management Server
       Lower levelSite Database
         Lower levelSite Hierarchy
           Lower levelsite name
             Lower levelSite Settings
               Lower levelSite Systems

  3. Click Site Systems.
  4. In the details pane, right-click the site system you want to assign the Software Metering Server role to, and then click Properties.
  5. In the Site System Properties dialog box, click the Software Metering Server tab.
  6. Click Use this site system as a software metering server.
